Products and Services
HF Couture provides a complete wedding and special occasion accessories service. Whatever you need I can probably make it! I take great pride and care in the products I design and create. I love this business and I love designing and creating. I keep up to date with wedding trends whilst making sure that I design and create pieces that are timeless, elegant and wearable. All our products are handmade here in my workshop in North Yorkshire. Components The components used are crystals, Swarovski, Bohemian and Czech we also have a stock of vintage crystals, components and beads. Pearls are either crystal coated or freshwater. Other components are sourced from vintage and other suppliers around the world. Colours can be matched from a swatch of fabric or a Pantone or other shade card. We use either silver or gold plated wire and all our earring and necklace clasps are either sterling silver or gold filled/plated. If you would like a piece of your own jewellery vintage or otherwise incorporated into a design this should be possible. After the wedding instead of putting your headdress away in its box to gather dust, why not have it redesigned into a piece of jewellery that you can wear again? I also am very interested in costume history so if you are having a wedding or attending an event with a historical theme and would like accessories that are inspired by that age please do not hesitate to contact me. Tiara/Headdress bands Tiara/Headdress bands are either gold or silver plated and where required are ribbon wrapped. Ribbon wrapping a band can help the band to ‘disappear’ into the hair so that only the decoration is seen. Especially effective on the asymmetric headdresses. Ribbon wrapped bands are also more comfortable to wear. Ribbon wrap is available in the following colours chocolate brown, ivory, gold or silver. Most traditional shape tiaras are mounted on a handmade band for better fit to the head. If required a tiny blue crystal or blue bow can be incorporated into the design, a special touch that only you will know about All our items are tissue wrapped, gift boxed and tied with our signature ribbon. |
Bespoke Designs The products on the website are only a small example of the work that can be produced. If you like what I do but can’t see exactly what you are looking for please do not hesitate to contact me for a chat. We can have a chat over the phone or you can visit me in my workshop here in the village of Church Fenton in North Yorkshire. Most designs come from an initial discussion with a client – I need to know the style of gown/outfit you have chosen and the name of the designer. How you would intend to wear your hair. The colours you would like to have and of course some info about you! Other Products I don’t just make tiaras.. I can also embellish your shoes with crystals, pearls or lace the choice is yours please call me for details. Restoring I can rescue that old, sad hat or fascinator sitting in your wardrobe. Maybe dye it and bring it up to date with flowers or feathers or whatever you would like. Even if you have bought a new but rather plain hat I can probably do something to it to turn it from ‘nice’ to wow! I also make hats. Everything from fascinators and cocktail hats to big handblocked sinamay picture hats. I also make hand embroidered and embellished felt hats.
